The Motivation to Love Yourself

Often I feel like six items are unlikely before breakfast. Not like Alice, though. Normally, my six unlikely feelings are about my anatomy.
I’m fat, too. It’s so pale my skin. My hair is excessively frizzy. The circles under my eyes make me look like a raccoon to me. I wish I had grown taller. I’d like to see a round forehead.

I’m fat, too. It’s so pale my skin. My hair is excessively frizzy. The circles under my eyes make me look like a raccoon to me. I wish I had grown taller. I’d like to see a round forehead.
I’m stressed and feeling nervous by the time breakfast is done. How do I not want to be a much better version of myself, though? Who would not want to be a much better version of themselves?
It’s not a nasty thing to be much better, unless the better version is unlikely. We can’t change things about ourselves; it’s who we are, and it’s what makes us different. And we lose our satisfaction by obsessing about those things.
Today, I want to encourage you to be a much stronger version of yourself, but not physically or emotionally. Today, chose to enjoy your physical self; each roll, each freckle, each frizz that gets bigger as the humidity increases. Each time you think about yourself as something negative, follow that up with a constructive one!
Don’t you like the number on the weight scale? And then, what? Today your hair and shape is on point!
By Respecting you, be a stronger you. And just enjoy making your life happy.
